An experienced senior manager, Mike has occupied positions with direct responsibility for workforces in excess of six hundred, in highly unionised environments, and with annual budgets of c£25M. The experience gained in such positions gives valuable insight in all aspects of managing large workforces and budgets including H.R, union issues, health and safety, employment policies and procedures and of course, all the relevant documentation required by companies of any size from "one man bands" to the largest of multi-nationals.
Mike has had personal oversight in the production of all the above mentioned documents, from initial ideas to final sign off. In addition to this wealth of experience, Mike worked on, and continues to work on numerous titles for "Project Gutenberg" www.gutenberg.org as a member of the team at Distributed Proofreaders www.pgdp.net, a voluntary project bringing old texts into the electronic arena to preserve and protect them for the benefit of all. These titles vary from childrens literature to scientific and technical manuals, periodicals, biographies and novels. 
It is vital in today's litigious environment that all literature produced by any person or company for commercial purposes is thoroughly checked and vetted in order to protect themselves from unfortunate consequences of poorly written literature or unseen mistakes.
